Compare the Aha's Cosmic Series Acrylic Block and the Express Travel Series Acrylic Standee on size, format, and release timing to decide which HSR desk display fits your shelf.
Quick answer
Choose the Aha's Cosmic Series Acrylic Block if you want a compact, character-neutral desk piece that fits tight spaces and ships after its September 2026 release. Choose the Express Travel Series Acrylic Standee if you want a larger character-focused display and can wait for its end-of-January 2026 dispatch.
Format and footprint: block vs standee
The Aha's Cosmic Series is a flat acrylic block measuring roughly 160 x 100 x 12mm. That thickness and rectangular shape make it stable on a desk without a separate base, and it reads more like a small art panel than a character cutout. The Express Travel Series is a traditional acrylic standee, with Aglaea at 195 x 143mm and Tribios at 156 x 115mm. Those larger character dimensions give it more visual presence, but a standee typically needs its own base and more clearance behind it.
If your shelf is shallow or shared with other items, the block's 12mm depth is the easier fit. If you want a character to be the focal point of a display, the standee's larger height and width do more of that work.
Release timing changes the practical choice
Both items are pre-orders, but their timing is not the same. The Aha's Cosmic Series block has a September 2026 release date and is expected to be delivered within 180 days after that official release. The Express Travel Series standee has an expected dispatch date at the end of January 2026. If you are buying for a display you want to set up sooner, the standee is the more immediate option based on the supplied dates. If you are planning a longer-term shelf refresh, the block's later window may be easier to budget for.
Character focus vs series-neutral display
The Express Travel Series standee is listed with character-specific sizing for Aglaea and Tribios, so your choice depends on which character you want to feature. The Aha's Cosmic Series block is described as part of a series with Type and Series options, but the supplied facts do not specify a character or artwork, so treat it as a broader series piece rather than a character portrait. That makes the block a safer pick if you want one display item that does not commit your shelf to a single character.
Trade-offs to weigh before you pre-order
- Space and stability: Pick the block if your surface is shallow or you do not want to manage a standee base. Pick the standee if you can give it more height and footprint. Measure your shelf depth before choosing the standee.
- Wait time: The standee's expected dispatch is end of January 2026, while the block releases in September 2026 with delivery up to 180 days after release. Choose based on when you actually want the item in hand.
- Display intent: Choose the standee if you want a specific character as the centerpiece. Choose the block if you want a series-level piece that does not tie the display to one character. Check the available Type and Series options on both listings before committing.
